Berry Brunk
Mr. Brunk is a serial entrepreneur with a focus on the media, healthcare, and software industries. He has provided strategic product development for a variety of Fortune 100 companies. In 1998 he helped launch Sun Healthcare, funded with $43MM in venture capital. Sun created web-enabled, clinical and financial information systems for the LTC industry. Brunk was responsible for the launch of the corporate and product branding integrated marketing communications programs, and also became one of six lead hiring managers that took the company from 30 to 150 employees over a 9-month period. In 1999 Brunk raised several rounds of venture capital for LaConner Technologies--a provider of interactive entertainment and educational content to the senior housing industry. LaConner delivered these interactive materials through a portal to the existing televisions in the rooms of residents in assisted living and senior housing settings. Mr. Brunk is a frequent speaker at LTC and Assisted Living industry events. He is a member of CAST and HIMSS and is building a reputation as a national thought-leader in the areas of technology for senior housing.
